It was always an ambition of mine to live and work abroad. I’ve had the opportunity to live in three continents, learn about other businesses, societies, and cultures. I feel lucky to have been supported and pushed outside of my comfort zone throughout my career at Hamlyn Williams and look forward to helping others doing the same.

Joining Hamlyn Williams in London nine years ago, Ali set-up our Hong Kong office, opening up business within Asian & Pacific markets. He has since relocated (again!) to New York where he runs the team there and is settling into NY life.

What convinced me to join was the business development opportunities and platform Hamlyn Williams could provide me. 

Having had no recruitment experience before, I knew that I wanted to be supported in having a solid foundation.

I've learned an abundance of both technical and interpersonal skills and I've learned tremendous amounts around FinTech. We have a name in the fintech/crypto space, and being able to grow my own personal brand is awesome. Being a part of an ambitious, growing industry and the challenges & opportunities excited me.

Since joining in 2022, I've been empowered to build and lead my own team, which has been incredibly rewarding. Every day, I'm motivated by connecting with people across Europe on topics I'm passionate about, making my role both dynamic and fulfilling.
