Hamlyn Williams hire Kunal Patel as Director of I.T. & Technical Staffing
We're delighted to welcome Kunal Patel as Director in the US for I.T & Technical staffing - with a focus on contract. His expertise in the contract & I.T. recruitment sector, with over 7 years with one of the U.S largest I.T. Contract staffing firms, means he's the perfect person to scale up our teams across the US, in order to place I.T. & Technology contractors to all our markets in the US.
His hire demonstrates that Hamlyn Williams is investing seriously in scaling up our contract service and looking to work with more businesses needing I.T. contractors and experts to fulfill short-term or contingent projects. As well as running the contract division, Kunal is also here to evolve & improve our offering to both clients & candidates.
We're building solutions to help contractors and clients every step of the way. Having a post-placement system to look after people once they’re in place, a post-finish system to work with teams and candidates when jobs are finished. We will have system to reengage and redeploy contractors so they can continue to find exciting new projects. It's a big opportunity to create a service we don't have.
As well as helping expand our contract teams, Kunal will also aid contract functions in other markets in the U.S and help improve what we offer for businesses hiring contractors across the board - improving our post-placement service & building expanded networks of contractors ready to make a difference on projects.

On the agenda 1st up for Kunal is to bring in talented staff to help fill out the new contract function across the US, but as well as the opportunity to build a function, the chance to build things the right way was part of what attracted Kunal to Hamlyn Williams;
There's a lot of work to do to build up our team to where we want it. But that's exciting as the opportunity to scale the business fast is there and add value. Hiring & scaling are the two priorities I have for the business now - and if people want to grow then there is going to be a huge opportunity to add value to the business and quickly grow a career for yourself.
We’re creating a team with a true business development approach. It won’t be instant overnight results because we’re building a new service and we're building out this team properly. I was enthusiastic about the leadership's ideas around culture too. Too many recruitment business hire a thousand people and hope that some of them survive. Hamlyn Williams want to train, develop and invest in people’s growth. That’s the right strategy for people to enjoy their job and get better – and naturally, those people will stay with us longer.
