Description

Our client's DevOps team is hiring an exceptional engineer to help implement, monitor, and maintain our systems. This role focuses on defining and building new engineering standards that enhance efficiency, security, and scalability across all teams. We aim to create new "paved paths" that enable our engineering teams to move quickly and securely while minimizing daily toil.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the DevOps team to assess current technology implementations and define our future roadmap.

- Work with various technology teams to deeply understand the challenges we aim to solve. - Participate in triaging and supporting regular maintenance work while identifying and implementing improvements to reduce operational toil.

- Work with the infrastructure team to automate setup, configuration, and monitoring of critical mining infrastructure.

- Contribute to the architecture and design of high-availability, zero-downtime cloud systems that support our mining efforts.

- Write documentation and provide hands-on guidance for building, monitoring, and maintaining mining systems.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience architecting, building, and managing highly available systems.

- 6+ years of experience with infrastructure automation and containerization.

- 7+ years of deep Kubernetes experience.

- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud provider ecosystems.

- Highly proficient with declarative Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform).

- Highly proficient with configuration management frameworks (Ansible).

- Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

- Proficiency in Go, with scripting experience in Python preferred.

- Working knowledge of modern web architecture patterns.

- Strong working knowledge of Git and its various usage patterns (GitHub).
