Vice President, Endocrinology Discovery

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished leader to drive endocrinology discovery research and advance innovative therapies. This role will shape strategic research initiatives, identify promising therapeutic targets, and guide projects through key stages of development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead endocrinology discovery efforts by identifying novel drug targets and advancing pipeline programs.
  • Serve as the scientific lead within cross-functional teams, setting priorities and guiding research direction to optimize project timelines.
  • Oversee drug discovery programs, from target validation through selection of candidates for IND-enabling studies.
  • Support project teams in progressing therapeutic leads and backup candidates toward First-in-Human (FIH) trials.
  • Ensure high-quality research execution while maintaining efficiency to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • PhD in Biology or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of leading scientific research programs and successfully delivering therapeutic candidates.
  • Deep expertise in antibody drug discovery or endocrinology-related therapeutics.
