Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of products and related medical conditions to engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with medical professionals and key institutions to drive awareness and appropriate use of products.
- Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory while adhering to ethical guidelines and industry regulations.
- Implement sales strategies at the prescriber level to ensure consistency in messaging and brand positioning.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively present product information and educate healthcare providers.
- Create and execute a strategic territory plan, prioritizing key accounts and efficiently managing daily activities.
- Leverage market insights and customer data to enhance business strategy and decision-making.
- Represent the organization at professional meetings and engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to discuss product benefits backed by clinical data.
- Utilize various communication methods—including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, video conferencing, and email—to connect with healthcare professionals.
- Participate in company sales meetings, training sessions, and business updates.
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as expense reporting, sample distribution, and compliance training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least four years of experience in outside sales; background in business-to-business (B2B) or life sciences preferred.
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to assess market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Energetic, adaptable, and self-driven with a results-oriented mindset.
- High ethical and professional standards, operating with integrity and urgency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software and iPad tools preferred.
- Willingness to travel 25-30% or as needed for territory coverage.
- Must reside within reasonable driving distance of the assigned territory.
