Our Client is looking for a skilled and passionate individual to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to transforming biomedical decision-making and improving global health outcomes. Our team values continuous learning, scientific curiosity, and open collaboration.
About Us:
Our mission is to advance health and combat disease, particularly in areas of high unmet medical need. We provide innovative solutions at the crossroads of data science, pharmacometrics, and technology to support evidence-based biomedical decisions.
If you're excited about science, collaboration, and contributing to meaningful health outcomes, we want to hear from you.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacometrician (minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience) to support quantitative strategies in biomedical research, development, and post-marketing applications. You’ll help design and implement modeling approaches to support critical decision-making across drug, biologic, and diagnostic development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead scientific collaborations with external biomedical partners
Design and execute modeling and simulation strategies
Build population PK, PD, exposure-response, disease progression, and/or systems pharmacology models
Apply Monte Carlo simulation techniques for decision support
Conduct model-based meta-analyses of therapeutic summary data
Perform quality assurance checks on modeling analyses
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and scientific publications
Work cross-functionally within agile project teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in at least one scriptable modeling language (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB)
Strong experience with modeling software (e.g., NONMEM, ADAPT, Monolix) and Bayesian tools (e.g., Stan, JAGS, OpenBUGS)
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant quantitative field such as Pharmacometrics, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in PKPD modeling and simulation following completion of graduate studies
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Shiny, Markdown, LaTeX, Unix/Linux, and version control (e.g., Git, Subversion)
Solid foundation in statistical analysis of longitudinal and hierarchical biomedical data
We offer a flexible, supportive environment where scientific impact and personal development are both highly valued.
