AD/ Director, Pharmacometrics
Pharmacometric analyses and insights play a critical role in the development of drug candidates, the assessment of product viability, and the maximization of clinical and commercial value. As Director of Pharmacometrics, you will lead modeling strategy and execution for high-priority clinical development assets and contribute to the broader strategic direction of the Pharmacometrics function across multiple therapeutic areas.
You will serve as a respected and visible leader on pharmacometric matters within program teams and across the organization. This position reports to the Head of Pharmacometrics and collaborates closely with Clinical Pharmacology, offering mentorship and expertise in advanced pharmacology modeling approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute advanced modeling strategies, particularly population PK/PD analyses and simulations
- Provide strategic pharmacometric input to program development teams and regulatory strategies
- Mentor Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics colleagues on modeling methodologies
- Champion the use and value of pharmacometric analysis across the organization
- Present findings internally and externally through conferences and scientific publications
Who You Are
You are a PhD-level scientist with a strong quantitative background and extensive experience in population PK/PD modeling. You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and are eager to contribute strategic insight while mentoring others.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutics, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience in industry or academia
- Deep expertise in population PK/PD methodology and clinical pharmacology
- Strong understanding of drug development and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to interpret data and translate quantitative findings into actionable insights
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train colleagues
- Proficiency in modeling tools such as NONMEM, Monolix, and R
