Our client is a reputable private equity firm that provides asset management, real estate and structured investment services. They are now looking for a Accounts Clerk, around 1-2 years experience, preferably with knowledge in assets management. This position reports to the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Account clerical support to accounting team for bank matters: account opening, annual KYC, prepare cheque and wire payments, monthly bank reconciliation
- Verify and arrange staff claim reimbursements
- Monthly accounting data entry
- Cooperation with auditors
- Timesheet consolidation
- Filing and other ad-hoc jobs
Requirements
- Diploma in Business and Accounting related subjects
- 1-2 years of account clerk working experience with private equity/asset management firms/fund house or service providers is preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English is a must. Basic Mandarin is necessary
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (in particular MS Excel)
- Experience in FLEX accounting system is preferred
- Proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
- Strong team player with high adaptability to a small team environment
- Good interpersonal skills
