This top tier Investment Bank is looking for a high performing Model Risk Auditor to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quantitative modeller to make a transition into internal audit or for a Model Risk Auditor to further develop their experience within this area. Main Duties and Responsibilities 

Work collaboratively with others to develop strong client relationships and support delivery of Audit Plan. 

Scope audit assignments including preparation of the scoping document. 

Manage audit work to ensure that relevant risks and controls have been identified and appropriately assessed. 

The role of the Auditor, Model Risk is to provide assurance over model risk controls at the Group level to internal stakeholders and regulators.
 
Your responsibilities will include:


Develop knowledge of specific business, industry, technical and environmental risks to focus work on highest risks.

Provide quantitative support and audit coverage of model design, validation and related processes.
Support business management in their understanding of corrective actions to be taken to ensure effective model risk management framework.
 

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Role relevant qualifications, i.e. MSc/ PhD

Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. gobal travel to model development and review hubs

Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Internal Audit is desirable but not essential

Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Models Audit, Model Validation or Risk Modelling / Methodology

 

Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. C / Matlab is desirable but not essential

Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals

Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
