Oslo is currently one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe. Situated between mountain ranges and at the head of the beautiful Oslofjord, the city has everything to offer in terms of outdoor activities. The recent years' boom in everything from underground music, niche art, tasty microbrewery beers, the vibrant tech community with lots of meetup groups and several hacker- and makerspaces, means there is always something to do.

As an Azure Cloud Architect, you'll find yourself participating in cloud automation projects, migrations, and audits - also internationally if you find it appealing. You will work with customers designing and implementing their applications in Microsoft Azure. Within this role you will learn the technologies of our other partners Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform.

All in all, you'll have a selection of different hats and have the luxury of following customer projects from start to release.

In the technical side, we really appreciate your appetite and a deep understanding for cloud, analytics, and databases most likely based on several years of industry expertise. Your daily serving includes Windows, Powershell, ARM, MS SQL, and the Azure cloud platform. Continuous integration tools and configuration management experience is appreciated. Visual Studio Online / Team Services or Team Foundation Server knowledge is preferable.

We would highly appreciate if you know at least one programming language and have used it preferably for server backend applications. You should also be familiar with common network components (e.g. DNS, routing, firewalls). And we get even more interested of you if you know some IT security and design patterns for cloud architectures.

To give you an idea what kind of a person we are looking for here is a small story of how we work. We all work directly with customers and each of us must be able to explain technical content to people who might be less familiar with technology. Working with different people and teams is not a problem for us. To us delivering quality solutions is more important than just getting the job done. We don't either mind traveling through one of the world's most beautiful countries.

If all this sounds like you, feel free to reach out and send us your CV and maybe a few words about yourself. We would also love to see some samples of your work, for example, your projects on Github. Before applying please remember that you must have permission to work in the EU/EEA. It is a bonus if you speak Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.
