We are working with a leading global banking group with a growing presence in New York City.

The team are currently looking for a Capital Markets Auditor to report to the Head of Capital Markets Audit.

This role will be hired on a hybrid basis with the hire expected to come into the office 2-3 days per week.

What you will do:

Markets audits: working independently on assigned tasks within the markets audit team.
Front-to-back office: audits include sales & trading desks, capital markets products (FX, fixed income, equities, derivatives, etc.)
Relationship building: working with auditees to establish strong, long-lasting relationships and timely escalation of issues.
Analyzing business processes: working with team mates to establish procedures, risks, evaluating internal controls.
Workpapers: preparing high quality papers that will support your audit findings and conclusions.

What we are looking for:

3-6 years' experience in internal controls, audit, advisory, product control or risk management.
Experience within financial services sector.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Demonstration of ambition, curiosity and drive.
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or similar.
Desire to achieve a professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CFA, CAMS, etc.
