Role:
- Lead the development of cloud strategy to encompass both architectural and business needs
- Define, implement, and continuously revise principles, policies, and governance to support multi-cloud adoption and implement solutions
- Support the end to end cloud migration plan and remediate legacy applications to align with cloud requirements
- Standardise system configuration and continuously enhance DevSecOps capability to create an agile and automation oriented cloud environment
- Design and build automated workflows and tools to enforce policies, best practices and cost controls
- Expedite the automated setup, configuration, and deployment of workloads in the cloud
- Conduct technical reviews
- Define and lead proofs of concept and pilot programmes to reinforce the use cases of cloud solutions
- Ensure performance and reliability as the cloud environments scale, and participate in remediation and continuous improvement
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of competing cloud technologies including MS Azure, AWS, and GCP etc. to allow for informed business decision making.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ of experience with cloud technologies and architecture
- At minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud application development
- Experience leading a team delivering cloud transformation projects and operations
- Extensive experience in cloud sourcing, vendor Management and cloud risk management
- Experience in managing and scaling AWS and/or MS Azure IaaS/PaaS and deploying large scale public cloud applications
- Experience in cloud operations, service automation, cloud administration & management, and performance tuning
- Experience with SOAP and REST APIs to support integration of infrastructure, cloud and platform as a service technology
- Certifications in TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, COBIT, Scrum Master, DevOps, or relevant disciplines
- Certifications for Microsoft Azure and/or AWS e.g. Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, Certified OpenStack Administrator, Microsoft Cloud, CCSP
- Vendor management experience on regional scale, with considerable focus on outcome based scenarios
- Bachelor's degree, or higher, in information technology, computer science or a related technical discipline.
