We’ve partnered with a growing cryptocurrency company looking to hire a Data Analyst to support their compliance function. The remote is fully remote.  

What you’ll be doing:  

• Assist in the creation of a compliance analytics function to measure operational efficiency and improve risk detection by leveraging techniques like statistical modeling and data mining.  

• Run analytics for BSA/AML compliance examinations. 

• Evaluate monitoring and screening practices to ensure systems are properly detecting errors.  

• Ensuring proper documentation related to parameter changes of AML transaction monitoring and OFAC screening.  

• Create system performance metrics and Quality Assurance processes to ensure accurate data collection.  

• Streaming compliance reporting solutions by working on improving items like data collection and reporting.  

• Build dashboards, statistical tools, and models to produce reports that are consistent and aid in decision making.  

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree educated – Information science, CS, engineering preferred  

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics within the banking, consulting or crypto field.  

• Working knowledge of Python, SQL or R.  

• Experience working on models that support compliance function.  

• Prior experience using LexisNexis, or other external AML software is preferred.
