Compliance Manager

Hamlyn Williams is seeking a self-driven Compliance Manager to join one of the fastest-growing, international companies within the FinTech sector.

Location: London, United Kingdom

 

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will be exposed to a broad range of Compliance and Financial Crime issues. Alongside managing your own team, you will be responsible for AML, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, and other wider regulatory issues.

 

Qualifications

As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Compliance and Risk teams to ensure relevant regulatory developments are communicated and implemented appropriately across the company
  • Reviewing documentary proof of suspicious transactions and ensure effective record keeping
  • Investigating and assessing alerts for potential money laundering and terrorist financing risk
  • Monitoring and handling engagement with UK regulatory bodies (FCA, etc)
  • Keeping abreast of the internal and external requirements related to money laundering and terrorist financing, including policies, procedures, and regulations

 

As a Compliance Manager, you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher education level
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Financial Service data analysis
  • Analytical skills required to organise and analyse multiple, complex data sets as well as strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of AML & CFT, Transaction Monitoring, and Analysis
  • Relevant Compliance/Legal qualifications and a good level of commercial awareness
