Hamlyn Williams are working with a high profiled streaming service provider looking to expand their development division. The organisation who have built an impressive client base across multiple multinational and SME organisations and have expanded across 60 countries with tens of thousands of customers using their service. Due to this growth they are seeking a Data Engineer to join them based in Stockholm or across Sweden remote.

The Position

As a Data Engineer you will be critical in building and supporting an insight-led enviroment throughout the business and creating a personalized experience for the users by working closely with the analytics in understanding and defining the data needs of the business. You will be working within a small Data Analytics Engineering team who are based out of the Stockholm HQ.

The main purpose will be to collect raw data from databases, backend systems, user interaction events and any other sources and developing that into high quality, well-defined, easily accessible datasets and allow them to be established via self-service dashboards.

Experience

Strong experience/background in Software Engineering
Prior experience of building scalable, maintainable data management systems and processing pipelines
Sound knowledge of SQL and general programming (Python/Golang/Scala)
Strong experience in Data Modelling and processing tools like – BigQuery, DBT,
Previous use of workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi or similar
Knowledge of Databases – BigTable, PostgreSQL, DataStore

Salary/Benefits

55,000 – 65,000 SEK per month
