Data Engineer

Hamlyn Williams are working with a high profiled streaming service provider looking to expand their development division. The organisation who have built an impressive client base across multiple multinational and SME organisations and have expanded across 60 countries with tens of thousands of customers using their service. Due to this growth they are seeking a Data Engineer to join them based in Stockholm or across Sweden remote.

The role

Building and maintaining data pipelines, managing data effectively day to day.
Building relationships with companies and meeting their data needs, communicating clearly throughout verbally and written.
Gathering data from backend systems, user interaction events and databases and then transforming it accordingly.
Presenting transformed data onto self-service dashboards, APIs and other platforms that benefit the business.
Working with other departments of the business closely to deliver a high quality experience for the customer.
Conduct data modelling, experiments and analysis.

Experience required

At least 2 years experience in a Data Engineer role.
A degree in software engineering Data computing, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
A masters or doctorate is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively report findings with customers and with other departments in the business.
Experience in quantitative analysis and KPIs with findings clearly reported.
