Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a leading consultancy firm in the Netherlands who are expanding their Forensic team. The team is dealing with and advising clients who are experiencing critical issues such as financial crime and consequently harming their business. The main focus of the Forensic Team therefore is advising these clients on methods to eliminate the reputational damage causes by fraud, regulatory violations, financial crime and other vulnerabilities.


As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for:

  • Creating innovative scalable data driven solutions in the space of Financial Crime
  • Being the point of contact for clients - analysing&assessing current processes of clients
  • Translating legislations and regulations (Wwft) and advising on laws
  • Being in contact with external and internal stakeholders


As a Data Scientist you will need:

  • A background in anti-money laundering services or fraud/investigations of a consultancy firm or large financial institution
  • 5+ years of work experience in financial crime preferably in connection with innovation
  • Master's degree: economics, business administration, criminology, organisational sciences or a law degree;
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch
