Our client is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company in the CNS/Neurology space looking for a Drug Safety Physician. This individual will be responsible for leading product-level safety analysis and medical safety management for their products throughout their lifecycle. The Drug Safety Physician is accountable for providing medical input to the assessment of the safety profile for each drug and for appropriate and timely regulatory reporting of safety issues. This role is hybrid, based out of New York City.

Experience

5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, as well as 2 years of pharmacovigilance experience
Understanding of pharmacovigilance regulatory environment with working knowledge of international regulations, initiatives, standards, Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
Ability to work cross-functionally on multiple projects

Educational requirements

M.D or foreign equivalent required
