Financial Crime Specialist (SME)

Hamlyn Williamsis currently partnered with a rapidly scaling Nordic Management Consultancy, which is delivering innovative transformation services across the FS sector. As they expand their Financial Crime offering, they are seeking industry specialists and experienced management consultants to serve their global network, ranging from tech start-ups to Fortune 500 clients.

Job Description

As a Financial Crime Consultant, you will tackle challenging stimulating and innovative work throughout every stage of your career. Their rapidly growing Financial Crime team has led some of the most exciting work that the consulting industry has seen for many years across both Financial Services and the public sector:

  • Digitising customer onboarding and KYC for some of the world’s largest banks
  • Supporting the delivery of transaction monitoring engines driven by next-generation technologies
  • Assisting global regulators to become more sophisticated and data-driven in their AML/CFT supervision and enforcement
  • Building leading Financial Crime intelligence functions across the public and private sector

 

Qualifications

As a Financial Crime Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering projects with minimal but regular guidance from the (assistant) manager
  • Craft detailed implementation plan for accomplishment of ‘streams’ of work/analysis
  • Lead a team to support the delivery of analysis
  • React to changes in requirements, timeframes and data availability in a constructive manner
  • Draft client documents
  • Liaise with junior and senior clients when supported
  • Prioritise your own workload effectively
  • Identify opportunities for extensions whilst on an assignment
  • Support sales activities within the practice to grow the business within the relevant sectors
