My client is a global cross-border payment company with over 100 staffs in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a senior credit risk analyst to support their expanding APAC risk team.

Candidates are required to have minimum 3 years of credit risk experience, preferably in a fintech/ MSO/ payment company. Previous experience with merchant acquiring or credit card processing is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Review new merchants’ credibility and payback ability. Prepare risk analysis and write-up. 
• Make recommendations on credit terms for the Credit manager’s approval.
• Timely monitor merchant’s activities.
• Provide business insights or process improvement plans for improving the underwriting process and closing any gaps in the overall credit risk process.
• Develop and drive the implementation of the credit risk rating matrix. 
• Review and enhance credit risk assessment procedures and processes.
• Review, maintain and improve on the merchant credit rating processes and scoring algorithm.
• Data driven propositions to enhance overall existing risk strategies.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ credit risk experience. 
• Ability to review the financial health of merchant businesses based on financial and non-financial data.
• Previous experience with merchant acquiring or credit card processing is a plus
• Strong analytical and data-driven skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English.
