We’ve partnered with a great international bank to add to their growing compliance department. They’re looking for an FIU Analyst to work closely with the Head on monitoring and assessing BSA/AML risks.  

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Work on Bank Compliance policies, procedures and desktop processes.  

  • Review alerts, investigation reports, documents, and provide feedback on AML/other risks.  

  • Conduct negative media searches and testing of updates to negative lists such as OFAC. 

  • Creating SARs reports and transactions with insiders. 

  • Testing of updates to the negative lists and documenting the results. 

  •  Perform FinCEN 314(a), Investigate Questionable Transaction Reports (QTRs), and initiate Requests for Information (RFIs).  

  • Update Profiles in Prime and upload supporting documents.  

  •  Assist Head, FIU with responding to subpoenas or requests for information, responding to audit and regulatory requests, and during audits/examinations.  

  • Perform annual review of transaction monitoring rules including recommending threshold changes to improve rule effectiveness and/or recommending addition of new rules or retirement of ineffective rules.  

  • Assist with projects such as new system implementation, model validation, etc.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree level educated  

  • 5+ years of experience preferably in Foreign Correspondent Banking. 

  • Subject matter expertise on BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC sanctions.
