Our client is a rapidly hong kong based asset management company, they are now targeting to open a new office in singapore and aim to hire someone with solid fixed income / credit research background to their investment team. 

This person will report directly to the senior PM , fluent mandarin & english speaking candidates who Singaporean PR is hirely preferred. 

 

Job Description

· Conduct fundamental research on specific companies and sectors across geographies.

· Develop and maintain financial models with projections on corporate bond issuers, and use the models to generate investment ideas.

· Undertake macro research on countries and regions to identify trends or anomalies.

· Participate in investor/analyst meetings of companies, and summarize key points from the meetings.

· Participate in internal investment meetings, and contribute market views and trade ideas.

· Conduct due diligence on primary bond issues and provide recommendations on them.

· Monitor news flow on the positions in the portfolio and highlight any significant events.

· Support Portfolio Managers on trade bookings, monitoring, and risk management tasks.

· Create and update presentations and reports for clients.

· Other administrative tasks as assigned by the manager.

 

Requirements

· At least 5-7 years’ relevant experience in investment research, financial modelling, and credit analysis.

· Good understanding of fixed income markets, products, and valuation methodologies.

· Fluent in written and spoken English; strong ability to write well-supported and well-structured investment reports; good communication and presentation skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be useful for analyzing and speaking with Chinese companies and clients.

· Should be Singapore national or PR.
