Responsibilities:

1. Understanding the CBT China business of platform;

2. Assisting with CBT’s leadership team on overall strategy, road-map and deliverable;

3. Take Lead of a 25 people CBT China seller business organization;

4. Managing both New Seller Recruitment (NSR) and Existing Seller Management (ESM);

5. Overseeing and coordinating the commercial seller management teams and site management team towards common business growth targets;

6. Ensure the teams hitting weekly/quarterly/yearly business targets and core KPIs;

7. Analyze business trends, diagnose the root cause of performance and create actionable plans for operational improvements;

8. Closely work with BI team and PMO and respond to seller business initiatives (eg. category development, brand owner recruitment, seller education, new types of partnership, X-launch, etc);

9. Respond to CBT China initiatives/projects to improve both internal team’s efficiencies and external customer and seller experience;

10. Build the team by hiring the top talent from the local market and installing MELI culture in the office, and also develop the best.

 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above;

2. 4-6 years successful track records of Marketing, Demand Generation, Account Management, or BD experience in the e-commerce/retail industry

3. Minimum 3 years people management experience;

4. Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations;

5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation;

6. Experienced in using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions;

7. Strong analytic skills and ability to independently deal with tools (Salesforce, Excel, other internal tools);

8. Native Mandarin speaker and professional English speaker, Spanish/Portuguese not a must but a strong plus;
