We are working with one a global Medical Device MNC that is currently looking for a Marketing Manager. This position is responsible for setting up the Marketing function in Hong Kong. You will be developing marketing and portfolio strategies, planning and leading the training & educational programs in collaboration with sales team in Hong Kong and East Asia marketing team. 


As an Marketing Manager you will: 

  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in patient & customer needs, provide customer/market insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution
  • Identify needs & gaps at country level in terms of capability & resources for delivering business objectives for inline & pipeline brands
  • Lead marketing team to direct company product management in Hong Kong through the entire product life cycle, develop the strategy and local business impact modules for product roadmap definition and migration plans.
  • Develop product marketing strategies including product portfolio & procedure definition, product positioning, and product combination for tender bidding, product pricing, go-to-market strategies, and incentive plan for product promotion with a focus on assigned brand/franchise
  • Lead market research including identifying customer needs, collect competitors’ information, study industry and market trends, perform market analysis and identify market opportunities
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams, participate in forecasting and inventory management processes 
  • Work closely with Sales and Finance teams in pricing strategies reviews
  • Develop franchise annual marketing plan and lead the execution
  • Collaborate with regional and local product management to develop the marketing, training and patient education content
  • Develop marketing communication strategies and optimize marketing communication channels with an emphasis on digital marketing strategies
  • Lead the and execute all activities for Marketing events


As an Marketing Manager you will need: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English
  • At least 10 years of experience across Sales & Marketing functions in medical device industry especially in Orthopedic and Implants field
  • Extensive operational knowledge and on-the-field experience managing customers and stakeholders in the medical device industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven track record in building trust and rapport with other functional teams, and able to foster effective collaboration to achieve department / company goals
  • Highly adaptable and flexible – one who truly enjoys navigating a changing environment and discovering new ways to achieve objectives
  • A strategic problem solver who is able to analyze, ideate and execute business plans across different functional teams
