Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a Dutch multinational insurance, pension and asset management firm, that is searching for a MLRO to drive the team to success. You will be tasked with ensuring that the firm is not exposed to any customer integrity risks and does not inadvertently facilitate financiale conomic crime. Additionally you will advise the organization on the implementation of the CDD framework, and report to the Chief Compliance Office.

As a MLRO you will be:

  • Translating legislation and regulations into a CDD framework
  • Designing a CDD framework to ensure compliance with relevant integrity risk regulations and guidelines;
  • Continuously reviewing internal policies, procedures and processes to ensure integrity risks from relationships are detected and reported in accordance with the law;
  • Advising with respect to risks in the CDD domain including the design of decentralized processes, training and Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis (SIRA);
  • Provide solicited and unsolicited advice to the first line on how to deal with customer integrity dilemmas to ensure decision-making within the company is based on internal policy;

As a MLRO you will need:

  • ​Analytically strong with an eye for detail;
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • Minimum of five years' work experience in financial services, preferably in banking;
  • Possession of a WO degree, preferably in the field of Law;
  • Broad experience with/knowledge of and affinity with the main legislation and regulations in the CDD domain (including the Sanctions Act, Wwft);
  • Preferably already followed training courses in the area of AML;
