I am delighted to be working with an extraordinary Start Up which is carving its way through the trading tech industry in the digital asset space. With an aggressive growth plan, my client is currently one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintech companies.

Working with numerous marketplaces and asset issuers among some of the biggest crypto companies in the world, they strive to be the household name in the digital asset tech space.

We’re looking for an experienced MLRO and Compliance Officer to work in the newly opened UK entity and ensure the top standard of compliance is implemented across the UK business. 

This role is 100% remote. Currently the team are using a flexi office and will be looking to secure permanent offices within London going forward.  

Job description: 

  • Responsible for the oversight of all compliance and AML activities;
  • Assist the Board in ensuring the business continues to meet its regulatory obligations;
  • Delivering high-quality compliance advice, oversight and challenge to the business;
  • Ensuring the firm’s policies and procedures are being communicated effectively to all relevant employees;
  • Ensuring that appropriate compliance and financial crime trainings are provided to employees; 
  • Managing the relationship and regulatory returns with UK regulatory bodies;
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory developments;
  • Working closely with the Group head of regulatory compliance and other heads of business lines.  


  • +5 years’ experience in either Crypto or investment banking preferred. 
  • Deep knowledge of the UK regulatory environment; 
  • Understanding of capital markets and banking systems; 
  • A compliance qualification for example ACAMS or a Masters in a related field would be advantageous.
