Job Description

A foreign bank in downtown Manhattan is looking for a technical consultant who can join their actively growing IT Department. The Office 365 / SharePoint Administrator will join for a long-term contract with potential for full time employment as the department grows and develops.

This position is hybrid of remote and onsite. Candidates must be flexible to work onsite as needed, otherwise able to work on a remote basis.

Responsibilities 

  • Assess the current state of the Office 365 and SharePoint environments to determine required enhancements.
  • Design, plan, build, and implement required enhancements to ensure the environments are efficient, secure, functional and adaptable to the bank's business needs, for Office 365 and SharePoint, FFIEC guidelines and NIST standards.
  • Document all configurations, processes, policies, reporting, monitoring, maintenance, etcetera, related to Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Develop Training Materials and conduct Knowledge Transfer sessions for IT Department and CISO.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and implementing enhancements to Office 365 and SharePoint
  • Experience working under regulatory pressure is a plus
  • Foreign banking experience is a plus
