Hamlyn Williams is supporting the build-out of a global fintech that provide a variety of banking services to both consumers and businesses. They are paving new ground within the space of challenger banking and e-commerce solutions.
Our client is specifically focusing on a build-out of their operational Payroll department, and we are looking for a versatile professional who has broad experience within Payroll, Compensations, benefits, and Project management.
Responsibilities:
- Set the strategy for and manage multi-cycle, multi-national payrolls in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
- Maintain updated knowledge of EMEA, International and US regulations governing payroll
- Recommend and implement changes to operating procedures regarding workflow and scheduling to meet productivity and quality standards
- Establish and maintain payroll guidelines through written policies and procedures
- Develop strong business relationships with vendors, auditors, Accounting, Tax, Benefits, Treasury, and HR to ensure efficient and well-controlled work processes and the safeguarding of confidential payroll information
- Coordination and execution of accurate payroll processing and reporting for Global Mobility personnel
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across the department and at all levels of management
- Coach, mentor, and provide professional development for the payroll team; manage compliance with their day-to-day responsibilities and deliverables
Skills Required:
- Must have global Payroll Manager experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- 4-5 years Experience required
- Must have the ability to manage a team and develop individuals through leadership and guidance
- Must be skilled in US payroll along with UK, EMEA and the global footprint
- Have proven abilities to build strong relationships, coupled with strong analytical skills and strict attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
- Strong Vendor management skill set along with a proven ability in payroll process reengineering and payroll systems implementations
- Strong payroll systems knowledge
- Experienced in implementing payroll processes and procedures
Remuneration:
- 40-55 SEK Per month (Negotiable for right candidate)
