This world renowned pharmaceutical research-based company has been in business for over 140 years. At their site based in Ireland they manufacture pharmaceutical products to the highest possible quality. Some of their treatments target ADHD, Dementia and Thrombotic Cardiovascular events.  Their site in Ireland is large and still expanding; currently 1,800 people are involved in the operations.

They are currently offering the opportunity for a Process Automaton Engineer to join them. The automation engineer will work within the automation department to provide automation support and automation solutions to manufacturing and support operations. Additionally, the engineer will be required to work with a variety of functions across the site, including operations, process engineering, project engineering, QA and IT.

Requirements:

•Degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics and Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or qualifications in other relevant engineering discipline with appropriate experience

•Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry

•Working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems

•Understanding of IT platforms such as networks and servers

•Self-motivated.

•Demonstrated team work abilities

•Knowledge of GMP’s, regulatory requirements, computer system validation

•Very good written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
