A startup client based in Nevada is looking for a Product/Project Manager to handle all aspects of the company’s product design and to spearhead it’s project delivery. This person will be working closely with the technical services team based locally as well as the remote technology center, located in China.

This individual must be comfortable in a hand-on, small-firm environment and have a passion for the design and deployment of new technologies including cryptocurrency and block-chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Research the customer demand for the new products and define the vision and roadmap for new financial products
  • Collect business and technical requirements, create robust project plans, and continuously monitor the project to meet KPIs
  • Lead the development of the product from idea generation, to design (UI/UX), to prototyping, to user testing, to production
  • Work collaboratively as a team member with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams, both locally and overseas
  • Drive project execution, ensuring adequate reporting to executive management of the company
  • Evaluate, and overcome program risks and implement changes or interventions when necessary to ensure the goals are achieved
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement

Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with a business emphasis
  • 8+ years of product design and execution experience with an emphasis in financial products
  • A proven ability to specify and develop financial products, such as payment systems
  • A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of key technology concepts including cyber security
  • Practical experience of both waterfall and agile development methodologies
  • PMP certification or equivalent is strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive experience of using common project planning tools and creating usable monitoring reports
  • You have a strong personal interest and ability to quickly learn about blockchain/cryptocurrency as a new product/capability
