Hamlyn Williams are pleased to be supporting the build-out of a global fintech that provide a variety of e-commerce and financial services to both consumers and businesses. They are paving new ground within the space of challenger banking and e-commerce solutions. The company scaling their analytics and product functions as they grow year on year.

This role sits underneath the wider umbrella of products experience, who owns and builds all user touch-points where millions of app users interact with the products that they’re looking to buy in the app. Teams in the group are e.g. Products & Search with a vision to revolutionise the way customers discover and find products & services they want to buy online; Shopping Collections building the wish list product in the app - a digital space to save items and content from anywhere and empower them with enriching tools to navigate their purchase decisions; Price & Availability Watchers who owns enabling consumers to actively and passively watch the price and the availability of products so that users can make optimal purchases.

These teams are powered by the Product Data teams who build and optimize the product data catalog with highly qualitative, normalized and up-to-date product data as well as understanding consumers search queries and how we can match query to the product catalog. 

The Products Experience - Lead Analyst will be responsible for the optimization as well as the best practices among the analysts within the group. You will have close collaboration with domain’s Analytics lead and will be assessed on the group’s ability of using data to create insights that drive the problem space forward and constantly improving the experience for tens of millions of monthly customers. 

What the company feel this person should have experience with;

  • 5+ years of background from Search & e-commerce and/or other high growth organization with operational experience in a quantitative or analytical role.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and distilling data into actionable insights and relevant product improvements.

  • Strong analytical skills set: the ability to identify and isolate trends and connect them to customer behavioral patterns and business impacts.

  • Ability to shape narratives and messaging that cuts through and pays off broader search vision.

  • Ability to influence and work effectively across functions.
