Role Scope:

The position will lead resource planning and management of Quality Assurance function to achieve targets & objectives for the assigned Business Unit. The role is expected to provide ongoing support to both internal and external customers for Quality & Reliability concerns as well as provide leadership in the development of Quality Engineers and related staff in the organization.


  • Lead teams to resolve customer quality issues; continuously achieve customer satisfaction

  • Manage shop floor Quality Assurance function to support mass production, product reliability, safe launch and quality system execution

  • Provide ongoing support to both internal & external customers for Quality & Reliability concerns

  • Manage incoming components quality and interact with cross-functional departments

  • Develop Quality System & Quality plans and provide monthly Quality results reporting to management

  • Drive and execute quality initiatives for management efficiency; demonstrate leadership in continuous improvement programs and activities using statistical data, Gemba Kaizen, TQM & other similar strategies

  • Develop skills of quality engineers to improve quality performance at the plant level; drive team performance excellence. Monitor performance and appraisal of Quality staff in mid-year and year end


  • Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering disciplines

  • Minimum 10 years of quality assurance experience in Automotive high volume manufacturing

  • Management experience in product design, quality or reliability engineering

  • Solid related working experience & hands-on in key quality tools e.g. Control Plans, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, PPAP APQP, MSA, Q Circles, international quality standard etc.

  • Fluent in English and Chinese

  • Excellent communication analytical skills

  • Demonstrated leadership exposure
