Hamlyn Williams are proud to announce a new partnership with one of the fastest growing R&D Tax consultancies in the UK. We are supporting them with the appointment of a newly created R&D Business Development Manager to come in and take the reins of the Outbound sales function. The successful candidate will be partnering with the C-Suite members of the business to create & devise a clear Sales strategy for the company and its new product offerings.

  • Set up new outreach tools and campaigns
  • Seek out appropriate decision-makers at target organisations
  • Build and develop our processes
  • Foster relationships with UK founders and C-suite executives
  • Analyze and interrogating company expenditure and development projects
  • Understand prospects’ pain points and responding effectively with a plan of action
  • Work strategically; we want you to own your area and you have the budget to build a system with the best suite of sales outreach and nurturing
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients
  • Monitor and forecasting sales and performance quarter by quarter

What I am looking for:

  • Someone who is hungry to grow a sales channel and build a team around it
  • Strong outreach and lead generation experience (desirable)
  • A self-starter, who will stay motivated while working Independently
  • Brilliant written and verbal communications skills
  • A keen interest in innovation, with a bonus of having an existing network/background in the space
  • Comfort building a rapport with senior executives
  • Proven campaign and pipeline management skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in R&D Tax credit relief sales
  • Driven by targets & motivated by Commission (MONEY)
