Hamlyn Williams are working with an exciting growing FinTech which has recently landed in Canada! Due to their growth into North America they are seeking a remote working Senior Business Development Manager to join them as they land and expand their footprint in Canada.

The organization have created an API powered platform which powers frictionless and real-time cross-border payments for businesses around the world. Thus makes it easy for businesses to settle any cross-border transactions and embed financial services into the product offerings to expand their ecosystems.


  • Your reporting line will be to the Head of Business Development North America & Europe and with this you will be focusing on building a sales funnel and converting leads, for their cross-border payments product.
  • As the Senior Business Development Manager you will leverage your strong existing network, while building new relationships from scratch, with financial firms across North America and Europe. Whilst doing this you will rapidly build strong relationships with stakeholders up to C-suite level personnel within the likes of banks, fintechs, and other firms.
  • You will also have the autonomy for being responsible for, sourcing and qualifying leads, tailoring solutions, negotiating pricing, drafting term sheets and contracts, facilitating a smooth go-live, ensuring partner achieves target forecast, and supporting clients in Europe over the course of the relationship with additional services.
  • You will also play a part in cross-functional projects, coordinating with the organizations Network, Compliance, Legal, Product and other teams where business development or your clients’ needs are key drivers of decision-making across the organization.


  • Over 5 years Business Development experience
  • A background in Fintech / Banking / Payments Sales is a big plus
  • A strong interest in the Fintech world
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Proven track record in hitting sales targets Monthly / Quarterly / Annually
