As a Senior Buyer you will:

  • Carrying out price / offer comparisons with the aim of optimizing the procurement and cost situation
  • Determination of the service needs based on the requirements, taking into account prices and delivery options; Obtaining offers and initiating renegotiations
  • Further development and optimization of internal processes and interfaces, as well as the continuous independent search for new savings potential
  • Conducting negotiations regarding prices, conditions, quantities, delivery dates, etc.
  • Implementation of specified procurement strategies as part of supplier management
  • Implementation of annual service and service provider evaluations and development and tracking of improvement measures
  • Development and introduction of methods and standards in contract drafting for external service providers
  • Development of a key figure-based reporting for internal control purposes as well as for external, contractually required purposes


As a Senior Buyer you will need:

  • You have successfully completed business administration or business law studies or completed at least 3 years of training in a technical or commercial profession
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of operational contract management, purchasing, project management or a comparable position
  • Experience in setting up a service contract management in an international context is advantageous
  • Business fluent knowledge of German and English, additional language skills are an advantage
  • Dedicated personality as well as a confident and obliging demeanor towards our internal and external partners
  • Organized, result-oriented and independent way of working, even under deadline pressure
  • Experienced handling of common IT systems such as MS Office
