My client is looking an experienced (4+ years) Software Engineer with extensive knowledge of Java, Spring, and microservices. Looking for someone who is willing to adapt to new client environments and learn new technologies. This once in a lifetime opportunity allows you to work from the comfort of your own home and does not require travel.

Summary:                                                                                                                                        

This role consists of full-stack functions but also consultants with expansive expertise in modern technology. Much of the work is remote with teams supporting clients from across the U.S!

You will be involved within long term projects, helping to build products from the ground up for Fortune 500 clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of software solutions at the application, package, class, and method level with Java / J2EE technologies
• Coaching engineers with agile, best practices
• Work with project team in which to propose a solution that meet standards
• Analyze and ensure requirements to identify technical recommendations
• Recommend future application solutions
• Review code for adherence to design specs, style guidelines, and best practices
• Participate in and/or facilitate agile ceremonies
• Translate requirements into technical specifications
• Integrate packages or applications
• Follow SDLC protocols
• Resolve application performance problems
• Reinforce technical product and architectural standards
• Develop and implement contingency plans for technical environments
• Provide application maintenance and support
• Promote DevOps principles

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with all or some of the following: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Spring, AWS, Cloud Services, Microservices, REST, Angular, MongoDB, DynamoDB
• Frontend technologies: React
• SQL or relational database skills
• DevOps mindset
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling
• 4+ years of application development
