My client is a top-tier, global, infrastructure provider. You will work tactically for clients using existing Global Solutions Architect methods and procedures on new pre-sales assignments in the field. You are already an experienced infrastructure professional who is looking to move into a client facing role. You have 5+ Years’ experience in the functional domains of Network, Cloud, Data Centres and Enterprise IT Systems, including implementation and technical support.


The role:

Solution Development:

  • Analyse opportunities and problems within customer context, business plans, technological statuses, and strategic direction
  • Support the development of solutions in technology, processes, organizational, impact, commercials, and implementation plans
  • Develop solution benefits and business cases for change
  • Share findings in customer presentations

Technology and Innovation:

  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to sales, marketing and industry participants through support in creating, developing and delivering content for proposals, marketing studies and marketing events
  • Support the briefing of sales teams on the impact of new technologies
  • Support the briefing of Sales teams on the features, restrictions and selling points of new products and offers

Strategic Sales Support:

  • Provide basic technology solutions support to global field and channel sales executives
  • Support development of technology strategy with account executives
  • Prepare and deliver client workshops and presentations
  • Provision of credible and compelling solutions to both existing and potential clients

Research and Development:

  • Keep up-to-date with the state of the art industry solutions
  • Collaborate on the research of relevant technology trends and provide analysis on their potential impact on clients
  • Provide recommendations to internal and external stakeholders based upon research conclusions
  • Maintain industry awareness through training, reading, research, collaboration and industry event attendance

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Interface with fellow stakeholders in the products and solutions lifecycle such as technology and service initiatives, new product introductions, technology roadmap, and commercial concerns


  • 5+ Years in the functional domains of Network, Cloud, Datacentre and Enterprise IT Systems, including implementation and technical support
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • Advanced industry certifications (i.e. Cisco, VMware, MS, AWS) would be highly advantageous
