Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a top U.S. bank to build out their Compliance Testing function in Jersey City. The build out will help the bank to achieve a number of strategic growth objectives and meet heightened regulatory standards given the current environment. We are currently recruiting an SVP / Team Lead to lead compliance testing reviews for the Wholesale Banking businesses in North America.

You will work closely with the North American Head of Compliance Testing for the division, and oversee a team of direct reports based across the US. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in the development of a robust compliance testing program to assess key areas such as Conduct Risk, Ethics and Governance for the capital markets and trading businesses.

Successful individuals must:

  • Possess minimum 10+ years' professional experience, ideally gained in the Internal Audit department of a complex financial services institution.
  • Excellent knowledge of areas such as Wholesale Banking and Treasury products - e.g. Trade Finance & Receivables, Payments, Liquidity Management Services, ACH, Commercial Credit Cards, etc.
  • Be a sharp communicator and play a critical role in driving positive change within your team and the wider department.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, FRM and/or CFSA.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those senior audit individuals looking to apply their experience in the 2nd LOD, and to impact positive change for a tier 1 financial institution.
