Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a global, asset management firm looking to on-board a Technical Audit Manager to their Global Markets team, based out of New York.  

Our partner is currently working on a remote basis, however will be moving to a hybrid model later in 2022, and all new employees must be vaccinated.

As a Technology Audit Manager, you will be reporting directly into the Senior IT Audit Manager, however, will have the unique opportunity to have direct oversight for the region, including setting the audit plan, and liaising with senior stakeholders across the business.

As a Technology Audit Manager you will: 

  • Partner with the broader risk management team and executives from across the group in contributing to the continual improvement of the overarching technology risk management framework. 
  • Focus on technology for the Commodities and Global Markets business across our offices globally, mainly concentrating on the Americas and EU business.
  • Help define the audit universe, engage in continuous business monitoring activities and perform risk assessments to identify emerging risk themes and trends.
  • Participate in integrated business audits and key system process audits in this area and proactively monitor key strategic initiatives and technology regulatory requirements impacting this area.
  • Have a primary focus on Commodities and Global Markets technology, however you will also have the opportunity to lead and manage audits in other technology areas during the year

As a Technology Audit Manager you will require: 

  • An undergraduate degree in computer science, technology, audit or another related field
  • Proven experience (at least 5-8 years) within a comparable technology audit or technology risk management role, with relevant experience in a banking and finance environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels is essential. 
  • Travel may be required as our business units are also represented across the globe.
