A growing FinTech is looking to add a Testing and Monitoring Analyst to their Salt Lake City team. They are a fast growing company who focuses on providing fair credit access to underserved people. This position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the compliance monitoring program as well as performing regular compliance testing and monitoring of programs and procedures. This position will also monitor activities such as risk analysis, risk identification and remediation, in order to minimize the company’s exposure to risk.

Responsibilities:

The Testing and Monitoring Analyst will oversee the framework and governance of the compliance monitoring program in order to conduct compliance reviews and ensure proper adherence to applicable anti-money laundering and consumer protection laws. The person will manage and maintain testing and monitoring checklists as well as track testing and monitoring progress and reports. 

  • Perform regular compliance testing and monitoring of programs / procedures implemented by Deserve to assess the effectiveness of the practices used and ensure compliance.

  • Run regular tests and document results in the pre-approved manner.

  • Validate, interpret, and present data findings to team in the form of regularly generated reports.

  • Identify trends in testing and remediation gaps in order to highlight training or education opportunities.

  • Assist with preparation and support of compliance regulatory exams / audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a testing and monitoring position 

  • Prior experience working at a financial institution (i.e. credit card, banking, fintech)
