I am working with a leading global banking group with a growing presence in New York City.

They are looking to add a VP AML AUDITOR to their audit function. 

This role will be hired on a hybrid basis with the hire expected to come into the office 2-3 days per week.

What you will do:

• AML focused audits: Creating and executing the yearly audit plan.
• Supporting the audit team: Working on an ad-hoc basis to provide support to other functions of the audit team
• Conducting continuous testing: Ensuring that the regulatory environment is up to par
• Collaborate on analytics: Working with the Data Analytics team to create automated auditing tools
• Creating audit news letters: preparing high quality papers that will support your audit findings and conclusions.

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years' experience in internal audit, specifically in the AML/BSA space
• Experience within financial services sector.
• Ability to act as a sole contributor.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or similar.
• CAMS or other certification is preferred.
