My team and I are working with a fast-growing fintech payments start-up looking to bring a VP of Finance/Controller to start their Finance and Accounting department. This role will be a key player in building out the finance and accounting framework for the company and leading from the front. 

Responsibilities

• Financial planning
• Quarterly and annual statements
• Audits
• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Prepare tax documents
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a high growth company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Good to have experience using Xero
• Fintech experience with startups
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in cloud based office applications
• CPA preferred
