A global investment banking partner of ours is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources- Benefits to join their New York team!  

What you will be doing:  

  • Responsible for driving the analysis, design, build, and delivery phases of HRIS systems-related solutions and overall management of existing systems 

  • Ability to perform ongoing analysis of existing system configuration to identify and improve current controls and processes while enhancing HR reporting/ analytical capabilities, improving the colleague experience, and increasing operational efficiency across the function  

  • Ability to collaborate with US  Senior Management (and UK counterparts when applicable) with strategic planning, vetting, development, and management of new HR technology solutions  

  • Ability to identify and resolve technical problems such as process gaps and opportunities for enhancements within all HR systems  

  • Serve as SME and Project lead for the technical implementation of new policies, procedures, and system enhancements ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as well as enhancing Employee Self-Services (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS)  

  • Manage benefit and retirement vendor relationships and related regulatory compliance reporting Acts as SME on effective execution of all benefit plans through companies HRIS and payroll system  

  • Responsible for facilitating annual non-discrimination testing, true-up reconciliation, and discretionary profit-sharing funding of 401(k), Oversees reconciliation of FSA, Transit, and other account-based benefits by the Assistant Benefits Manager 

  • Partner with internal and external auditors on Health & Welfare, 401(k) and Pension audits, PBGC payment, and oversee 5500 filings (prepared by consultants)  

What they are looking for:  

  • 5+ years of Benefits Management experience (Health & Welfare, 401(k)) 

  • Undergraduate Degree  

  • Experience with HRIS and advanced in excel  

  • Management experience  

  • IT experience is preferred
