A world free from bias, stereotypes and discrimination
At Hamlyn Williams, we pride ourselves on placing talent that makes the difference. This means that we have a responsibility to hold our clients, candidates and our employee’s accountable for helping to #breakthebias in our workplaces and our communities.
Due to the nature of our business, we also have the unique opportunity to help enable our clients to build an inclusive and diverse workforce, as well as placing candidates in businesses that are committed to addressing gender inequalities and stereotypes.

We believe this all starts with opening up the conversation and providing a platform for women throughout our network to give their accounts on what has, can and should be done in their respective industries. With this in mind, we have spent the last few months discussing key topics with female leaders and candidates from the industries we recruit for and also within our own team around the world.
The breadth of the conversation has been thought-provoking and inspiring. From how diversity allows companies to play to strengths that don’t yet exist, the need for education, why representation matters and how recruitment can facilitate and drive positive change, our contributors have given us food for thought in their International Women’s Day 2022 thought leadership.
We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we have enjoyed bringing them together. We look forward to continuing to engage with clients & candidates positively around these issues – and as such, we’ll be continuing the #BreaktheBias conversation, with more thought leadership and other content planned in 2022 and beyond.
We look forward to sharing more with you. Thank you to the Hamlyn Williams team who helped put this together, especially the recruiters, whose trusted relationships enabled us to capture such honest words.
And of course, thank you to our contributors for their time, and helping continue to push for a world where equality & diversity is celebrated.
