Role:
You are a Senior Security Sales Consultant / Manager with a strong cybersecurity background and a passion for sales and advisory services. Our client is a leading global professional services firm. You will bridge the gap between technical security solutions and business needs, working closely with clients to understand their challenges and recommend tailored cybersecurity strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex cybersecurity concepts into business-friendly language.
  • You coordinate technical cyber security consultancy assignments with the client
  • You will lead a range of assignments, including penetration tests, technical security assessments, security transformation initiatives, and maturity evaluations. These projects vary in duration, spanning from one week to several months. Each assignment is conducted by a team of at least two professionals, with larger engagements involving teams of up to ten members.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop cybersecurity proposals and tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, security technologies, and regulatory requirements to provide informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure the seamless delivery of security solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

 

Key Requirements:

  • Professional level of Dutch & English languages
  • Living in The Netherlands
  • Consultancy Experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in managing teams and assignments, and with sales or other commericial activities
  • 5 years technical background in cybersecurity (e.g., soc, penetration testing, cloud security, network security, identity & access management, threat intelligence, or incident response).
  • Experience in a pre-sales, technical sales, or security advisory role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and consulting teams.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or vendor-specific credentials (AWS, Azure, etc.) are a plus.
