Control Systems Migration Engineer Kuwait
We are currently supporting a critical migration project for a leading global engineering firm in the oil & gas sector. This is a long-term contract role based in Kuwait, focused on upgrading control systems from IR11 to IR13, transitioning from physical to virtualized environments.
Key Details:
- Location: Kuwait – Office + customer site (15 mins apart)
- Scope: IR11 to IR13 migration; physical to virtual upgrade
- Project Phase: Testing & configuration underway – site start May/August
- Hours: 48 hrs/week | Saturday–Thursday (Friday off)
- Overtime:
• 25% uplift on weekdays (pre-approved)
• 50% uplift on Fridays/public holidays
- 8–10 years’ experience in control system migration projects
(Will consider 5+ years for candidates with strong hands-on experience and attitude) - Proven ability to manage full upgrade lifecycle – ideally IR system migration
- Strong knowledge of virtualization and on-process system transitions
- Available to start within 1–2 months
- Visa Support Available: India, EU, US, UK applicants preferred (visa turnaround ~1 month)
Note: Cannot process visas for Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, or Russia due to restrictions - Interview Process: 1–2 rounds (technical + optional commercial)
- Must be open to site-based work (daily site visits expected)
