Are you passionate about driving safety and operational excellence in high-stakes environments? Join our team as a Process Safety Engineer and play a key role in safeguarding people, processes, and assets in our dynamic oil and gas operations.

What You'll Do:
As a Process Safety Engineer, you’ll lead critical safety initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with OSHA PSM standards and industry best practices. You'll be instrumental in designing and improving safety systems that prevent incidents and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct PHA studies (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA) and Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA)

• Support design teams on fire protection, ESD, gas detection, and relief systems

• Investigate incidents and lead root cause analyses

• Drive compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations

• Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture

• Perform audits and identify opportunities for improvement

• Stay current with innovations and best practices in process safety

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (Master’s preferred)

• 5+ years of process safety experience in the oil and gas industry

• Deep understanding of OSHA PSM standards and risk analysis methodologies

• Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills

• Experience with process safety software and risk assessment tools

• Preferred: Process Safety Certification (e.g., CCPSC or equivalent)

• Willingness to travel to field locations and perform facility inspections

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This role includes a mix of office and field-based work. You must be comfortable with physical activities such as climbing, lifting up to 25 lbs, walking over uneven terrain, and wearing PPE (e.g., respirators, gloves, gas masks) during inspections.
