Position Summary:
We are seeking two experienced Senior Automation Engineers with strong expertise in Emerson DeltaV, OSI PI, and PLC programming to join our team in Sanford, NC. In this hybrid role, you’ll serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading control system design and support efforts across regulated, production-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and commissioning of Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).
Manage and maintain OSIsoft PI data historian systems and interfaces.
Serve as a senior technical resource for automation systems across multiple departments.
Support integration between PLCs, DeltaV, OSI PI, and enterprise-level systems.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT to implement and maintain control solutions.
Participate in FAT/SAT, system validation, and commissioning of new or upgraded systems.
Maintain and develop documentation: control narratives, logic diagrams, SOPs, and technical specifications.
Ensure systems are in compliance with GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant standards.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and participate in cross-functional training initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS (7–10 years preferred).
Strong experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
Proficient in OSIsoft PI setup, integration, and administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
Solid understanding of automation in regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, or Life Sciences.
Knowledge of ISA-88, ISA-95, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Batch process automation and ISA-88 batch configuration experience.
MES integration and Industrial IoT/data analytics experience.
Familiarity with secure automation architectures and network/cybersecurity best practices.
